Forwarders, Copiers and Responders
Forwarders allow mail to be sent to an alternate email address when it arrives. For instance, if
you wanted to have an email address bob@here.com for your business, but only want to check your
personal email account (bob@another.com), we would setup a "forwarder" on bob@here.com to "forward"
your mail to bob@another.com, much like the USPS forwards mail.
Copiers allow mail to be copied to an alternate email address. Copiers can be placed on both
outgoing and incoming email. In most cases, neither the sender nor the receiver will know that
the copy is being sent.
Responders are used to automatically respond to a sender when email is received. These are
frequently used to send out a "we received your email" message.
